Hello Here,
i came to this thread after a lot of research. I am writing from Europe, and I am evaluating to purchase in this year a new Suzuki Ignis....so here comes the list questions: this Suzuki has a 7 steps CVT which might exactly be the CVT7 from Jatco.
Suzuki here offers extension of warranty till 6 years and in the current service Manual ther eis no mention of CVT oil change (only regular check during service interval of the fluid level).
1) Ho much reliable is this CVT transmission driving a car below 90hp and in a city with a lot of ramps (Parking ramps, Hills etc...)
2) A bit jeopardized situation: how do we cope with the ide aof FLuid replacement without breaking the warranty?? it seems that some people suggest to change the fluid, and some other suggest not to touching until some signals have been sent by the transmission (sounds, slow shift, slippery sounds of the belt, no linear progression etc...)??
3) Can this trasmission last 150/200.000 km??
Thank a lot for any contribution and happy new year!
