Hello everyone, returning Mirage owner here...previously owned another Mirage back in the 90's then switched to a Buick Park Avenue. I'm glad I switched back.

Hello DOC1969 and welcome to the forum.
That's quite a switch - from a Buick Park Avenue to a Mirage G4. What influenced your decision?

Thanks for the welcome Eggman. My decision for a new Mirage was influenced by the recent gas price spike here in SoCal, and my Park Avenue turned 19 years of age....she was due for retirement.
dspace9, my old one was a 1992 sedan with an automatic, good little car, definitely more room than this new version....but no complaints here.

We have a thread on gas prices and like to speculate on how it will impact the sales of our favorite little car. I think you'll really like the fuel economy of this version of the Mirage.

Welcome to the forum, DOC1969!
I'd be curious to hear your impressions of moving from a Park Avenue to a Mirage G4! I suppose you could argue the G4 is the Park Avenue of subcompact sedans.

Welcome. A super clean low mile park ave ultra would be a great car to roadtrip in though. Good cars. Those get like 30mpg fwy

I fell in love the first time I drove the Park Avenue back in 2000, but after 19 years driving around this beautiful country of mine, and a few road trips to Mexico, it was time to let her go...plus it had 190K plus miles on it. Good car though.
