I really like these wheels to put on my red car
They are 15X8 +20mm offset, would they fit ok or would they rub?

Hmmm...I'm not sure if anyone is running an 8" wide wheel. I'm not saying it won't work, but it will be tight. It may be impossible if you lower your car.
Go to these websites where you can compare the stock wheels/tires on a Mirage with the wheels/tires you are considering...
https://www.willtheyfit.com/
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/
Use these parameters for the stock wheels:
Wheel Size: 14 x 4.5"
Wheel Offset: 46mm
Tire Size: 165-65-14

Hi Andrew. Welcome! If you need factory parts or accessories, I have found the cheapest prices at www.MitsubishiPartsNow.com
This was just a fitment test. There is some clearance. They will definitely rub if you have 2 people in the back seat.

Hahaha I see that look every day in Hotlanta.
So basically if I wanna go 8” wide, I would have to install stretched tires and then roll and pull the fenders? I don’t plan on dropping it really low, just enough to get rid of some wheel gap. Besides, the roads here in south Texas are crappy and full of pot holes in some areas so dropping it really low isn’t really an option lol
I can't properly help you. I've only used the stock 4.5" wide wheels. I'm just assuming 8's would be too wide to fit without rubbing when turning. I could be wrong though, it's happened once.

I'm not sure 8" wide wheels are going to fit on a Mirage even with plenty of massaging. I'm not positive, but I don't think we have anyone on the forum who has ever gone that wide.
One thing is for sure...I would want to try it on my car before I bought it. So you may want to work with a local shop instead of ordering $1,500 worth of wheels/tires from Tire Rack just to find out they won't fit.
There are a couple of guys running 15x7s...
