Hmmm...I have owned 4 cars on that list. I must have a deathwish or something...
So many possible ways of looking at this.
You could argue that sub-compacts are generally driven by younger, less experienced drivers.
The Corvette, Challenger and 370Z are probably driven more by younger, more aggressive drivers.
The Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Versa, and the Nissan Versa Note each earned the lowest possible “poor” rating in the IIHS small overlap front driver test, which tests what happens when the vehicle’s front corner collides with another car or an object such as a pole.
There's probably no data on this, but it would be interesting to know what percentage of collisions involve this type of "overlap" contact. I will say that I am most nervous (and defensive) in my Mirage when driving on a 2-lane country road where this type of accident seems to be more common.
