There shouldn’t be any reason why you shouldn’t be able to use a CVT from ANY 2014-2019 Mirages. Whatever changes they made it still has the same bolt pattern to mate with the engine. Who knows, maybe the original version of the CVT came shipped with no filters installed (this might be the reasons that dealers don’t know they have them?). Then they added them as reliability issues cropped up. Just guessing but really there was no change in the dimensions of the transmission. Any changes would have to be internal and or programming.

The mitsu site shows the early 14' has a different cvt cooler. That's all I found different so far.

Makes sense, shouldn’t be any reason why you shouldn’t be able to bolt a 2019 CVT into a 2014.

Fummims does the older CVT cooler mean its inferior? To change it to something else isnt a good sign is it?

If I remember correctly, fummins has had a 17 cvt die, too. So the different cooler may not matter. Not that that is exactly comforting...

All the one's I've replaced were 1

All the one's I've replaced were 15's. I can't recall what year the one the dealer replaced was but I'm sure it was a 15' as well.

I stand (or sit) corrected. Maybe I remember you getting some 17's in your fleet?
