    Legend:

"Condition" appears to be a 1-5 scale. (Look at the $2300 paid for a 1.3 in Nashville!)

"Type": Most appear to be lease returns? I wonder if these are rental cars being turned in? If so, I didn't realize Mitsu LEASED them.

This info was posted in a comment by a guy who goes by the name "28-Cars-Later" on The Truth About Cars website. He regularly posts this kind of used car auction info and appears to work in the car business.

It came up in comments under the article Ace of Base: 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage

Without pictures this data isn't that useful. I'd really like to see what the 1.3 Nashville one looked like.

I was told Enterprise started leasing and stopped buying about 2 years ago. It was too much of a headache dealing with the unwashed masses when Enterprise decided it was time for a car to leave. There were some great values if you were patient. I recall 2014 SE loaded Mirages going in 2015 for $6500 with about 24-40kms on them.
Zero, 2014 ES Plus 5MT, written off but not forgotten.
Zero II, 2014 SE, 5MT, climate She's HOME now!
    Shelby AKA "Cute", 2017 ES 5MT, A/C.

Mirage owners look at the world differently than everyone else, but in a better way
We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century, the greatest small car now available!

You could buy a Tesla online! But they're electric.

Without pictures this data isn't that useful.
I'd have to think it'd be a pretty clear scoring system. It's in the auction's interest to make sure the score is accurate for online bidders.

Also, there must be photos in the system the guy pulled these numbers from, but he just did a text copy/dump in the comments of the related article inorder to make a point. He does it fairly often.

I think it is worth it to get a used one just so you only have to pay sales tax on what you paid! How stupid it is sales tax on a new car is based on the MSRP and Mitsubishi has the friggen highest MSRP compared to what they sell for. This is an extra $600 savings right there.

Also it doesn't make sense how a dealer trade is subtracts from sales tax but not if I sell my car myself. Tell me the dealers didn't lobby for all this garbage. I can't wait for dealers to be a thing of the past.

Where in the world do you have to pay sales tax based on the MSRP? That is crazy. I'm inclined to think maybe the dealer conned you on that. Here in WV sales tax is based on the price paid for the car minus any trade in.

No I did not pay sales tax at dealer but MVC to avoid the documentation fee. NJ sales tax is 6.625%. All states that I have seen so far according to my google-fu must pay sales tax on the sales price and rebates. It is the price of the car minus trade in. They count the price including rebates. Trust me I told them what I thought about this... maybe NJ does it different.

A few provinces charge tax on KBB value. Simple because for a decade before that, every used car registered somehow had a blown engine and was purchased for $100.

Hell, I paid "$100" for my first half dozen cars.

Ontario is one that does that. I get trying to end the $100 sale of a 3 year old car with a "trashed" engine but a car is heavily taxed when first sold, then taxed every sale thereafter. Who's the greedy party now?
