Summary
This is a Technical Service Bulletin, sent to dealers, to provide instructions for reprogramming the CVT ECU with updated software to minimize shift shock.
PURPOSE On certain Mirage and Mirage G4 vehicles with CVT transmissions, drivers may experience shift shock in the following conditions:
Condition 1: When coming to a stop.
Condition 2: After coming to a complete stop with the transmission in the D range.
The first condition may be caused by improper timing of the torque converter clutch disengagement.
The second condition may be due to improper CVT clutch engagement control, causing the driver to experience shift shock when the CVT clutch is re-engaged.
This TSB instructs dealers to reprogram the CVT ECU with updated software to optimize the torque converter or CVT clutch engagement control to minimize shift shock.
AFFECTED VEHICLES The following vehicles equipped with CVT transmissions may exhibit one or both shift shock conditions:

•Valve body assembly
•Plug and O-ring for CVT inspection
This TSB covers CVT service. It's (currently) the largest file of all the TSBs, so it's got lots of detail. Here's a link to the file: TSB-19-23-006
And the file is attached to this post for safe keeping. Let me know if there are any problems with either:
1. Viewing the attachment to this post or
2. The NHTSA link.
