30,000 miles on my OEM pads. Not only that, but the wear surface on the rotors was half gone on one rotor and the pad and disintegrated on the other side that it was metal to metal. So I had to emergency buy rotors and pads from AutoZone. This was Friday. Today I ordered new rotors from Rock Auto. I will keep them ready for when these go bad.

Original Brake Pads (brand new car):
Aftermarket Brake Pads:
I am not sure why the genuine brake pads are so thin.

16 782 Km Only:
This was the car that I ever had with less brake pads duration. But now, with the new aftermarket brake pads are lasting much more, the car have now 32 700Km and still have a lot of brake pads:
By the way I live in an island that have a lot of moutains, so, even using the correct gears in downhills we spend a lot of brakes.
You can search in Google Maps by "Funchal, Portugal" to confirm what I am saying.
However I suspect that the person who drove the car the first 2000 Km have wasted a lot of brakes. Because when I bought it it already have very thin brake pads (however genuine pads are already thin).

Done 56000km with original car brake pads (blue ones), yesterday got the car from Mitsubishi and they are different now, already call them to see if it wasn’t a mistake… they said that they are different now.

I got 27,000 miles out of my OEM pads and rotors. By the time I changed them, the pads (3 of the 4) were nothing left but the metal and dug completely into the rotors. The car was not safe to drive until I was able to find rotors. Which is for another story. But it took 3 days to find and order them.
