That is weird, so a roof mounted mic was never offered in the US before 2018?
We now have 2- 2019's at my location with the backup camera carplay radios. All of our 2015,2017 and 2019's all have the same wheel mounted bluetooth and headliner mics.

I like to just raise my post count.
The 2019's up here have the same 3 wire mic and have the connector doesn't plug directly into the mic, it plugs into a pigtail about 4-6" long, our 2017' and olders have the 2 wire mic with the plug in right into the mic. They all look the same from the outside.

Our 14-15 ES models came with factory bluetooth and a headliner mounted microphone. 17 was the oddball year.

I have this car
With this radio
I got from eBay this
and this
I'm waiting for the controls for the Steering wheel.
There is this connecter in the left side of the car (windshield) with the harness from the handsfree unit for the microphone
The radio recognize the Bluetooth unit but I cannot connect because I have no mic installed yet and the buttons on the Steering wheel to.
Thank you for you help I wanted to be sure before I cut my headliner for the microphone
I hope to get the missing parts soon and all will work hopefully.
I'll report.
Hi alex where the mic have to be mount?
If i buy the Bluetooth kit from eBay. I have to go to the dealership to activate the Bluetooth module compatibility with the ETACS??
Mine must be an odd one out of the bunch. I have a 2017 ES with no steering controls, it had the basic no-display stereo, but came with the bluetooth module and mic on the headliner. I’m looking for a mic to connect to my display stereo after seeing that the headliner mic will not work. I also do not have the harnesses behind the faceplates on my steering wheel to add the extra cruise and audio buttons. It’s a little odd because it has cruise control wiring installed, where I saw another user in a different thread did not have the cruise control wiring in their clockspring.

Do you know what the adapter wiring harness is between the radio and car?
Yes, I need the pinout for the adapter harness for any carplay radio of probably any year to figure this out for my 2021 radio in 2019 swap. Anyone with the applicable adapter who could share what pins the mic goes to, it would be helpful. I don't think the bluetooth module is the same though...
Also, this thread is a good lesson built in attachments stop working and so do ebay links. Please, take pictures/info from links and embed (imgur always works for me) so we can see them years later.

I'm not sure if 2017 diagrams would work for you but here are some https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...l=1#post137577
