I've never seen one of these and this is the midwest, this car was mint!!! And driving in the winter, though the snow is currently gone.
If this posts upside down can someone right it, for the rare Mitsubishis sake.

I remember those (Mitsubishi Expo LRV). Not very common, but nice vehicles in their day.

They sort of came in during the end of the Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista Wagon period maybe? They would have competed with the old Nissan Stanza Wagon. Nice vehicles for small families.
We need the new Delica here. The only car like it is the Mazda5.
I kinda have a thing for station wagons and tiny vans. One of the reasons I like my little hatchback. Also related to these vans were the Eagle Summit and Eagle Vista.
My first car was a 1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV. 1.8-liter, 5MT, four-wheel ABS, four-wheel independent suspension with disc brakes all around, and super versatile. It was actually pretty ahead of its time. I need to find another.
When I worked at the wrecker I stashed an awd summit wagon aside for a winter beater. It ended buried behind a warehouse for 4-5 years til I quit. May have to see if it's still around. Would make a cool sleeper. https://engineswapdepot.com/?p=9597

Found some other oddballs there today. An svx, a fwd Buick with a 4.3l diesel, chev short wb van with 4.3 gas and 3 speed on the floor, a bubble back window fix body Capri(with window smashed by the trailer park kids down the road), my old 86 bronco that I put a f250 cab on many moons ago, and a early-mid 60’s shortbox chev.(not that rare I guess) Attachment 17961 Attachment 17962Attachment 17963Attachment 17964 Attachment 17965 Attachment 17966

That Subaru SVX is pretty rare. Looks like it's in good shape, well on this side anyway. They have that strange double window.
Great photos, always fun day at the wreckers. You can't just walk in a lot of wreckers in Ontario these days, unfortunately. My favourite spot when I was a kid.
