This article has some interesting graphics that illustrate how something like this can spread under different conditions...

For logical people. There's a lot of dummies out there buying up toilet paper.

No. Only if the fear is destructive. In many cases fear has a function, it helps you to stay out of dangerous situations. And logic dictates that it's better to unnecessarily stay out of a not dangerous situation due to too much fear, than getting into a dangerous situation by too little fear. Better safe than sorry.

First saw that series back when I was in high school. Scared the crap out of me. I started watching the serious again a few days ago. We don't have a bunch of dead people laying around the streets, but the film still gives me a different feeling today than it did years ago.

Haha. Man, sad but true. Still, I also wonder where that "buy toilet paper!11!!" came from. Seriously. I can't get my head around it.
I went to 4 locations yesterday and they were ALL out of TP. Freaking. Ridiculous on another level. People don't care how many issues their car has even after their mechanics tell them to replace several parts... but Corona-Virus? Better jump on hoarding ALL the TP I can get my hands on. lol
