. . . . I would just like to see Mitsubishi offer an authorized turbo kit. Not a Mirage with a turbo but the six speed with closer ratios would be nice. Too much spread between gears even though 1st and 5th have nice ratios.
    GOD Bless and Thanks,

Rich - If they sold turbo kits, I'm sure some would be interested in them. I personally think 4th & 5th could be spread apart a bit. I would leave 4th where it is and make 5th gear a bit taller. I sort of like the car as is. I wouldn't pay extra to change it now.

I like cheap no frills vehicles, but those don't really exist any more.

    Mark,
. . . . I like inexpensive and no frills cars. The safety requirements add about 30% to the cost of our vehicles. Another 20% is because of the liability insurance that the manufacturers have to carry because of the sue happy people out there. Of course those safety features probably saved my life and definitely saved me from serious injury. It is nice having cruise but it is unnecessary. The same for power windows, door locks, mirrors. ABS, and stability control. If they extended the red line by 500 rpm and pushed the fuel cutoff up also then you could stay in the power band between shifts. These are minor quibbles to me.
    GOD Bless and Thanks,

    Mark,
. . . . Me too. I have been on SSD for almost 20 years and I receive my disability payments through direct deposit. I wonder how many others have been misplaced?

So in case anyone was wondering, a 28mm coupling feels a bit looser than the radiator connection. A 30mm coupling would probably be a bit tight, but I think I'd prefer that to it being loose. That said, the 28mm coupling will probably work, just gotta make sure your hose clamp isn't loose.
