Krown does exist in some parts of the United States. It's just not an option in Wisconsin. That's why I have never really heard of them before.

I would consider Wisconsin a rust belt area.

Isn't fluid film basically the same thing Krown uses?

Don't all cars get some rust on them over time? I won't be driving my Mirage in the winter, but is it worth it or overkill to get Krown rustproofing?

If you aren't driving on salty roads, I wouldn't lose sleep over not doing it.

That's a good question. Depends on how long you want to keep your car. For Mentor Ohio, I would say it is absolutely worth the expense. It will pay back over time.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a car that lasts a long time and wouldn't need replacement. Cars are a big expense, it makes sense to make your investment go as far as you can. Rustproofing treatments in Rust Belt areas are a win, and Krown is considered one of the most effective - better than Ziebart or other traditional rust proofing treatments.

When they open l'll get it treated, like you said-as an extra layer of protection. l also bought a car cover specifically for the Mirage just in case...hopefully Krown opens soon It would be even better if manufacturers Bedlined their cars out of the factory...but that would increase overall cost.
