I do. It's got lots done to it and is worth hardly anything. I don't think we'll be getting rid of it. It might be our '22 Alcan 5000 rally vehicle.

I did, however, just put the Mirage on Craiglist. We'll see if it gets any interest.

I Just wish that it could cross over into real estate. Canada is one messed up place when it comes to real estate prices.

Yeah, Vancouver is insane for real estate.

The high prices of Vancouver and Toronto trickle down to rural Ontario. Property values here are way up. House insurance is a bigger cost every year. County property taxes don't seem to be going down lol. At least a house is a good asset to have.

Is it true then what people say, manuals are hard to sell?

Why are you getting rid your newly purchased Mirage anyways? I thought you had planned on getting a Mirage for years. Why all the time and effort to get rid of it now..

Well... all but 2 of my cars have been manuals, and I've sold them when I wanted to.

But it's probably getting harder to sell a stick. Just look at the declining percentage of new manuals sold every year.

New?! I've had it for 6 months!

I'm living above my station, driving the fancy one. I'd prefer a base model.

Also, I'll make a few bucks. Buy 2, get one free!

There will be more cheap Mirages where this one came from, and I tend to be a repeat car model buyer: 6 VW Rabbits in a row, 5 Metro/Swift/Fireflies.

Ha my first car was a 1985 Rabbit Cabrio. White with black roof. I didn't buy it until 2003, but I owned my Rabbit for 7+ years. No power steering. No rust. My dad replaced the transmission so I had 5 gears and at the start 4 gears, plus that weird VW reverse lol.

Loved the red engine block with the VW/Audi logo etched on.

My 2014 Mirage is a base model. No A/C, roll down windows in the back, 5 speed manual.
