My 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage used to show a wrench with 11200 in front of it.
Now it shows 5 dashes in front of it.
I have a total of 1200 km on the vehicle.
What is going on?

It's just a service reminder. You can reset it, change the mileage interval or turn it off completely. Here is the link to the thread:

Have your reset it?
I watch this 58 sec clip every time I forget how it's done.

I find it much quicker to watch the clip than read the instruction on how to do it.

Thank you. I assumed that the service reminder would trigger at 11200 km since that was always displayed. Seems that it triggered after the 6 month period.
DUMB, DUMB, DUMB! How complicated does this display system have to get?
However, I had contacted the dealer before & he indicated to me that servicing the vehicle on my schedule is o.k. (before winter, then again in spring) as I don't drive thatmuch.
Thanks again...
6-months have expired - that makes total sense. I just reset the wrench whenever it appears. I still like doing things the old fashion way. I record my last oil change (mileage/date) on a small piece of cardboard (usually the taken from the cardboard tab of the oil filter box). I write when the next oil change is due on the other side. I tape that little cardboard tab in the upper corner of my windshield (no different than what most mechanics have done for decades).
I am not even sure why I do this? I change oil/filter every 5,000 miles, & that is easy enough to remember. Then again, I have more "brain fart" moments as I get older. If I didn't do this, I may change my oil twice in the same week!
Just joking - I'm not that bad yet!!!!
I have mine turned off completely in my Mirage and Outlander Sport. Byeeeeee and good riddance service reminder! I do all my own maintenance anyway.

Way to go! BTW - I love my Mirage! I am a VW beetle fan and this is the best replacement for it - I love shifting gears and am a fan of low fuel consumption!
If you keep track of your maintenance yourself, you can reset the wrench easy yourself too.. I learned from this video on you tube

My local Ford dealer does my oil changes, I reset the trip computer so they don't have to.. and I go by the sticker they put on my windshield for my next oil change. Always approximate, but I drive my Mirage almost every day commuting to work.
Regarding old VWs, I've owned 3 cars in 20 years, my first car back in '02 was an '85 Cabrio Rabbit. I miss my Rabbit, drove so nice. Rabbit had way better leg room than my Mirage hatch does.

Got a 1953 Beetle in 1953. Got the gold pin for it - the 100,000 km club. Had several other beetles since - nothing but good experiences.
