You remember the Mitsu service tech guy on here awhile back? He was trying to justify Mitsubishi's insane part prices, unbelievable. This is like Range Rover pricing and Mitsubishi knows it. I'm not sure what type of business strategy this is besides extortion? Most of the Mirage's target consumer pool is on the financially vulnerable side of the spectrum, Mitsubishi should know this. The fact they take advantage with insane markups is why this will be my last Mitsubishi.
