Not sure where to put this.

I just saw this and tried it on my mirage using a tape cloth that is used for the wirings and it seems its much quiet when closing the doors.

Just 1 rotation of the tape cloth coz rolling too much and the door wont close.

How long before that tape frays and gets tangled in the latch mechanism? Even if you are able to remove the cloth tape material, wouldn't the adhesive residue interfere with the latch mechanism?

not sure though, i just did it today. the cloth tape holds well and no residue as of the moment.
