I am not challenging you at all. I've always liked the Soul, because it's a bit unique. Scion aren't very common where I live. Thus, I don't take much stock in them or forget about them. So much of today's vehicles all look the same.
I sort of like vehicles that maintain their identity over time & don't evolve into something else.
I test drove a KIA Soul once, but it can't tow like my Forester or has the economy of my Mirage. I only buy manuals, & that limits choices, too.
Rather than wedge the Eclipse Cross between the Outlander & Outlander Sport, I thought Mitsubishi should have went after the KIA Soul market by offering small AWD version similar to it. Since Scion was disappearing, this would have made even more sense maybe? I am just speculating, but I think an AWD Soul-like vehicle would have been more popular, because even the newer Hyundai Venue is only FWD, too!
Unlike Hyundai/KIA copying Toyota, I feel Mitsubishi should go after vehicle niches others are ignoring. An affordable small, basic pickup truck for example would put Mitsubishi back on the map sooner than an updated SUV.
You know a lot about Toyota, Hyundai, & KIA. I appreciate you sharing all that! Thanks!
