Questions:
- If a Mirage 5-speed were driven at a steady 85 mph, no A/C, assuming everything was in working order, could it go 250 miles on a full tank of gas?
- What is the fastest speed the cruise control will hold the car's speed? My truck is 85 mph, no faster with cruise. I'm wondering if anyone knows this.
It would have to achieve ~27.75 mpg to make 250 miles on 9 gallons. Based on my estimations, it should achieve right at 30 mpg nominally, but I have not driven the Blueberry that hard as yet. The rpm should be right in the 4,300 rpm zone, so it should be rather comfortable and hovering near its torque max.
I can tell you that on my Outlander Sport you can set the cruise control at 90 mph / 145 km no issues. I would assume the Mirage shares the same programming.
