There are chop shops and their crews all over Atlanta and they don't get caught very often. They target Honda Civics more than anything so us being Mirage owners shouldn't worry lol. Although you do see a lot of hood/trailer parker shenanigans involving our Mirage on the news.

The Bronx has ya beat there Dirk

There's a reason our insurance rates are the highest in the country....sigh....at least my Mirage doesn't match up to the BMW's/Civics/Toyota's that are so popular on the hit list of thieves. I agree we can be grateful for that at least

There's a pink CVT Mirage in Minnesota with 414,000 miles on it. Even those who have sort of slammed the Mirage are taking note of that. Don't know anyone with a manual Mirage that's done better than that. Overall, Fummins' company fleet has done very well, too!

Ah, I think it's purple, lol. The owners bought it because it reminded them of their idol Prince That one may be a fluke, or it's not. No way to tell really. Again, after this trip, I definitely am trusting this CVT. It performed great throughout the entire time I pushed it hard over mountains, over umpteen bridges, in every possible speed zone. It's a keeper for sure

you enjoy it! That's the most important part: enjoying the car. I love downshifting mine on twisty back roads and hearing that little 3cylinder roar.

Edit: I'll try to post a POV drive with my new camera glasses later next week. Should be cool.

I'm not sure if I'll be talking during the time like a review.....or it'll just be a silent POV......Not sure yet. I'll know more once I get my camera next week

I bought a back camera for my car just a week ago, so far so good.

Just wanted to share my travel experience with my mirage 2017 cvt.
I bought this car especially for travels, we live in a distant place so have to travel a lot.
Last summer went to Prince Rupert BC, it was 3000 kms trip. Not super comfortable but cheap as heck.
We do trips 2000-3000 kms every summer and I never regretted of my choice. This winter the engine made some rattling noise and the dealership offered to change it for the new one. The oil change was coming so I agreed (done under the warranty). The old engine was consuming 4,5 l/100 kms, the new one is 5,5 l/100 kms. I'm currently on almost 90 k km, so far so good.
    Vovanchik and Mirage Musya

Wait what? You've already had to replace an engine? How many km on the original engine?

I suspect engine replacement happens more than what we hear about on the forum - more so in cold climates. Back when my rear axle was replaced there was a used 3A92 crated for shipment in the back of the repair shop. That was late 2016.
