Here's some Accounting talk for you:
Assets are things you own or are of value: Car, Cash, House etc.
Liabilities are things you owe: Accounts payable, debt, car payment, etc...

Dating has been a liability for me...always in the red no matter what you do...and your Assets will slowly shrink either trying to please the gf or try to impress and ask out others. Best to keep your Assets in check and clear from any liabilities. Just my experience and .02...

But different strokes for different folks l guess...

....gotta get back to my classes, bye!....
Yes cars, kids and ol lady's can get expensive. But it's not always bad. I managed to boot my welfare trash hag out one spring and didn't lose anything other than had to pay child support til December when I finally got custody. I didn't even use a lawyer. 5 years later the hag is still jobless living with her mom in welfare housing getting fat.

I met my current ol' lady 4 years ago? She's the opposite of the ex: has a good job, license, car, had a house, not on welfare etc...
We ended up selling both of our places about 2 years ago and bought a way bigger place. We split the bills and end up paying less per month now than when we each had our own places(because science). So far so good.
