I agree that silver is one of the best colors for not showing dirt or salt as bad.
If I did it over again, however, I would have picked one of the bright colors. Being visible while driving a small car is worth something.
Black is sharp when it is sparkling clean. Keeping it sparkling clean is another thing!

Silver is the last color you want if you are on the highway, during a heavy storm, in the middle of the day. Its hard for others to see you. I had this issue with my old silver Subaru. I agree with you though, it hides dirt better and reflects heat better than any other color besides white.
I can't believe Miami Vice's Sonny Crockett's 1986 Ferrari Testarossa had tan leather seats though! That must of been hot as hell in south Florida!
White Bear is down to their last 5-speed Mirage.
This could be Barrett-Jackson material 30 years from now...or not.

The black 5 speed HB is still available. I'm kinda surprised that there's no appeal to that color yet.
In Canada they offer the 5spd(or even the base cvt model) Mirage in Titanium Grey. Or for extra you get the pearl white. Do they have different color grey between US and Canada or do they just use different names. Like calling a roof a ruff?
Edit: Even the higher trim "carbon edition" offers Black or White. It's $300 for black and $450 for white. Odd...

Don't know what happened, tried to edit my post and got it deleted instead.
Here in The Netherlands, they called the red version "Orient Red" at one point and switched over to "Majestic Red" instead, while both have/had order code "P19".
Marketing department magic, I guess.
R: “We have to get extremely creative with customers that have time issues. We have a waiting list. For us, we have a waiting list for the Mitsubishi Mirage, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. I can remember no time in the last 12-year history, having a waiting list for the Mirage. But we do now because it's affordable. Customers say, "Why buy a 7-year-old Civic for 15, 16 grand, when I can get a brand-new Mirage?"
Oh well. No more brand new Mirage for $10k-14k OTD. Mark and someone else here got lucky 🙂.
ES trim model is popular and HOPEFULLY the manual transmission option will NOT be discontinued. All of the dealers in California that recently had a mirage with the stick were successfully sold in just little time. I have been checking constantly since August 2021.That’s a good thing!
