If that muffler is a baffled chamber type and large body glass pack in a straight up swap???? Keep the resonator to kill the popcorn.

    Oh...I got it
Triple expansion chambers like on a 750 Kawi triple.
You'll get that sweet sweet song with a perhaps 3 db reduction in volume.
Remember, if you will. or can, those bikes R/L'd @7500 rpm, not the hyper 15K of the modern 600's, but much closer to our 3 bangers.

    A muffler is not needed

I looked at that and similar mufflers. I don't want to use enough reducers to go from 1.5" to 4" diameter exhaust though! But I wonder what the exhaust would sound like if expanded to 4" ran through a muffler, then back to 1.5" and out. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that somewhere there's probably a website or an oem intraweb tool that simulates exhaust sound based on exhaust changes.

And yes, I'd keep a resonator, I don't want drone or fart can sound.

The one I sent the link to is 2.5" Pretty easy, right?

Probably. I plan to go to a local junkyard that has a 2019 and see if I can access the exhaust. And if so I will try to pull it off. Then I'm going to begin experimentation.

To be honest, I don't know WTH I'm doing. I'm just going to do as I've shown in post #7 in this thread. So if anyone has any BETTER ideas about what to try with a stock exhaust system that is laying on a garage floor, let me know. I would experiment, then swap it into the Blueberry. If I don't like it (which I probably won't), I will slap my stock exhaust back in there.

And lastly, as embarrassing as it may be, before and after swapping exhausts, I'm going to take it to the drag strip. Personally, I can't make changes without some kind of data. The Trap Speed will be all-telling. I'll take an exhaust that sounds really nice and no gains. But I won't tolerate no good sound, unless there's some evidence that I'm getting something out of it.

Post #7 shows eliminating the 2nd cat and the muffler. I think it may be too loud. Another member here has eliminated his 2nd cat, but stated to me, he couldn't tell any difference in the sound or the power. So I'd have to do more than just remove the 2nd cat.

Have you studied tuned exhaust? Because it sounds like what you want to achieve is exhaust scavenging. A good tuning shop should be able to point you in the right direction.

I care about sound, not power. But I don't want an exhaust that will be a hindrance to all of our 78 hampster powers.

Again, pulse scavenged megaphones. Think a derivative of Top Fuel sound. Oh, you thought the zoomies were random length? Un uh
