^ Just a random picture of my 2014 Mirage.

... when you borrow a friend's car (Chevy Equinox) and the whole time you're driving it you're thinking, "why is the &#^$^ steering in this thing resisting me so much in the curves? It's like it only wants to drive in a straight line!"

That's how you know you've gotten used to the 2014/2015 Mirage's slightly bizarre lack of self-centering steering.

You attempt to drive a ~2010 Corolla and feel like it wants to take off with very little throttle.

Haha!! I just did a road trip in a friend's 2010 Kia Rio automatic, and it felt like I was driving a race car. The power!

Also: YKYAMOD when the perfectly positioned factory arm rest plus the door handle/arm rest in a 2010 Kia Rio feel like the height of ergonomically designed comfort. The extravagance!

You know you're a Mirage owner when you get in another car with 4 adult men and marvel at how it doesn't bottom out in the back when going over the smallest bumps. (It was a fun time with 4 grown men in my Mirage)

You also know you're a Mirage owner when you rent a U-Haul box truck to move a king sized bed and have an aneurysm when you have to fill it up at the end of the day.

You know you a Mirage owner when you feel like Marty McFly in the Delorean when you have to punch it to safely highway merge on a short ramp.

You know you're a Mirage owner: when you're going down the highway behind a semi at 70mph (or 112 kph), and the wind is buffeting your car around like you're Chuck Yeager in the X-1 about to break the sound barrier.

    ^ Ha!

... when half your friends & family don't know how to pronounce the name of the company that built your car.

You know you're a Mirage owner when you get downright PISSED at the car ahead of you for accelerating unevenly because they cause you to short-shift into 2nd thinking that they're accelerating slowly... and THEN they take off, and now you have absolutely no power to accelerate in this gear and everyone behind you thinks it's your fault.

    Simplify and add lightness.
