I too notice zero difference in how an engine runs when different flavored oils are poured in. I do notice that mine runs smoother and has more power when I have an air freshener hanging off the mirror. I can literally feel the difference.

When I run mine on gutter oil I can smell the difference.

You cover both extremes on the forum! Some days you give us the most useful information, and some days not!
I will have to try the air freshener on the mirror & report back!
I did notice a difference pulling the front snow tires off my Mirage the other day. The car definitely rolls smoother without them!

I have no idea what group oil I've used in the past. I've tried all sorts of brands, never redline though. I recall you mentioning your Mirage is your first car. I think you'd do very well as a service adviser in a dealership.
If grumpy posts the same change in how his engines runs noticably different when using different brand/group of oil oil then I'd consider it. I just have a hard time believing that you can feel what oil is doing. I'm just a skeptic that eats crayons.
