It's nothing a tube of grease can't fix.

I also grinched a hitch from a car at work the other weekend. I managed to save all the hardware except for the little u-bolt that attaches to the rear tow hook. I removed the back bumper as that seemed to be the only way to get the bolts and plates out of the frame rails.

I guess I should clean the thing out one of these days. It hasn't been done since I bought it 3 years ago. The wifes kia trash can has been cleaned numerous times in the last 4 years and it still looks like some meth heads have been living out of it a week later.

The back brakes are squeaking again. I'm pretty sure the left e-brake cable is sticking, partially causing that noise. It's pretty obnoxious, right as you're coming to a stop it gets really loud. It seems worse when it's humid out(raining). I should probably fix that...

Otherwise, I wouldn't mind getting the window's tinted. At least the rears(can't tint fronts here).
If you don't have the guide wires for the bolts, I suspect you'll be removing your rear bumper to install the hitch on your car. I like having a hitch on vehicles.

Yeah, bumper is for sure coming off when I install it.

I broke the same hardware removing the hitch from Mirage #2 to put on the current one.

    can't tint fronts here
I don't think the police enforce tint rules in Ontario. Fronts are supposed to be limited to something like 10%, but MANY cars are doing limo tint these days.

Tint is a safety issue: I want to be able to see the whites of the driver's eyes when they're in a position to pull out in front of me.

Also, the tint trend has made it all but impossible to see through the car in front of you to see what's happening ahead of them.

I probably should have looked into these bags a little further before doing this. I’m not sure if I’ll use that red spacer deal in there like that. It goes on the top as per instructions but the kit is made for a focus I believe. I’ll try it out in an hour on a few long sweeping on ramps where you can get up to 60mph. So far I just went around the block and I think it feels less wallowy already. At least in the rear. Front is soft, rear is stiff. I put 30-40psi in the bags.

Okay, so I took it for a drive. Had quite a bit too much air in the bags. It wasn’t nice. Bounced over bump on the road both slow and at highway speeds. I drove about 40km and when I got home noticed the one red spacer was cocked sideways…

So out they came…I also clipped the hoses down and left the filler dingus’s right at the trailing axle. Less hose flopping around, less chance of leaks etc. I might place a short piece of vacuum line over the hose so it doesn’t chafe through. Will see how it feels tomorrow. Might still have a bit too much air in them, my gauge reads about 25-30psi. Should probably drop it to 10?

    I had mine at ±5psi.

Edit: I think I also had the hose routed at the top, not the bottom.
