Enasaves aren't the only 145/65-15 and there are even snow tires with that size. Those Quatrac 5s seem to often have a narrower track than other tires of the same listed size and have a higher PSI rating than Enasaves.
Other things to think about concerning traction and mpg:
Non LRR tires may have better traction, so you could get better traction with a narrower tire than stock Enasaves.
Higher PSI may have better MPG than lower PSI, so you could get better MPG with higher PSI tires than stock Enasaves.
Have you seen the tires on the BMW i3?
