    New Record

The old girl continues to make me happy.

This is for an approximately 120 km trip from Manning Park, British Columbia to Chilliwack, British Columbia.
It included driving over a pass but overall probably a 60-40 downhill bias (steep up and steep down before reaching a valley).
It was below freezing!!! for much of the trip and due to poor road conditions I drove about 10kph under the speed limit. The pics were taken right before the end of the drive. The higher one was because I didn't think it could possibly go any lower. For American readers, this shows as about 69mpg.

Now that gas prices are really taking off, I thank this car for her service. I hope you all are getting good value from your Mirages!

Yes, cvt. Probably about 130k or so just doing a quick conversion in my head from kilometers to miles.

I'm in the western mountains, just for your info, but the prairie provinces can be quite beautiful. Stay away from them this time of year though unless you really like cold and bleak landscapes.

It's fine. Only 2 more months of snow then we'll be able to see the nice brown grass again lol

Yeah but doesn't it turn into massive forests the further north you go? How far north have you gone ever Fummy?

I don't get out much. Furthest north I've been was Fort st John in BC(I think a member vlad the impaler lives there?). I've got a ton of family that live 4hrs north of me around High Prairie. It's mostly farm fields and indian reserves in that area.

Southern BC is definitely more scenic and better weather year round. Though my folks live in Kelowna and often get more snow than we do here. They live on a hillside in the snow belt though lol. They want to move back to Alberta to be closer to family for some reason.

Until this Mirage video, I never knew there was a Yellowknife, NT. Gets cold there. One of our forum members?
