I don't get out much. Furthest north I've been was Fort st John in BC(I think a member vlad the impaler lives there?). I've got a ton of family that live 4hrs north of me around High Prairie. It's mostly farm fields and indian reserves in that area.
Southern BC is definitely more scenic and better weather year round. Though my folks live in Kelowna and often get more snow than we do here. They live on a hillside in the snow belt though lol. They want to move back to Alberta to be closer to family for some reason.
