How metallic is the Mercury Gray Metallic paint color? Can you see specks in it?
No specks. Solid metal grey paint for me. It doesn't scream which is what I like even with tinted windows.
The white on my 15 DE looks like it has tiny glitter specks in it. I kinda like it but my paint is jacked up from rock chips, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches. Anyway, this gray color is very muted, low key, and not flashy at all. It's kinda bland not overly metallic.
I'm thinking about buying this Mirage. It's Mercury Gray Metallic. I'd prefer Infrared red but there's only one manual and it's gray:

Maybe WB can hook you up for the red HB 5 speed?
If you need help making a decision on color, I would contact Richard Herod III of White Bear. He would be able to give you the odds of finding a ES manual in red.
