I have been patiently waiting for the detail on this to come out. I really wanted the GR Yaris to come here, but I knew better. So I had hoped this would be as good as promised, and so far, so good. The problem will indeed be the price. For 35k (which I agree is where it will be) there are plenty of other options, and thus it wont sell well, and thus it will be deemed another failure and reason why "AMERICANS DONT WANT MANUAL HATCHES" which couldn't be further from the truth.

What about MPG? I'm guessing 27 MPG. I suspect this will not be lightweight.

Yeah I heard 3,200lbs. Not sure though.

I agree 35k maybe even more with the BS market adjustment stuff.

Even if this can be had for sub $25k which would be decent for the specs, I wonder if the buyer would even be ok to pay $6 per gallon at high 20's MPG? That's something for them to consider. Heck, it their $ and probably won't care.

I can see myself getting one but geez Im already happy with my $15k 45 MPG G4!
