This car is being added to my collection of Geo Metros, and the one Civic VX that I have left. It will become my daily driver when completed.
Purchased from a guy that deals in cars he purchases from insurance auctions. Driver's fender, door and mirror needed replacement. Driver's rear door and rear wheel area needed some rework. Fairly easy repair. About an hour to remove bad door, rehang new one, and install new fender.
It passed the required safety inspection today. Now I have to submit all the paperwork, and have another inspection done by the DMV official.
Bad news to report. My car is experiencing the starter/flex plate eating issue. It's done it twice. Push the button to start, and it grinds like crazy. Dropped off at the stealership today for some recalls, and to check out the starter issue. Not happy, as the starter won't be under warranty.
