Hi, I have a 2015 Mirage and I've been having overheating issues when idling as well as a slow coolant leak. I took it to the shop today and they said the water pump is bad, and quoted me ~$700 to replace it (including labor).

My question is a few parts:
1. Is $550 a realistic price for an OEM pump? They claim there's no aftermarket options, but looking online it seems there might be.
2. Where is the pump located? I can't seem to find any good engine diagrams online, and the local dealership doesn't have a service manual I can look at.
3. Is replacing the pump something I could do on my own, assuming I have access to tools and a few jacks? I'm not particularly familiar with engine repair, but I'm good with other mechanical repairs and I've been wanting to learn car repair for a while now.
4. What model number should I look up for the pump? AutoZone has several pumps that look very different from each other but all say they're compatible, and none of them look like anything I see in my engine bay.

Thanks in advance!
