Squeak noise from wheels

I only have 22,000 kms but at very slow speeds it goes "squeak squeak squeak..." but then it goes away as I go faster. What the heck is that?

If you have wheel covers, maybe they are making the noise. Pull them off and see if the noise goes away.

Have you inspected your wheels & brakes?

Look for rust on the rotors, both the outer circumference and inner, both inside and outside rotor surfaces. Mine developed a scraping noise that was caused by rotor rust scale on the inner surface near the bearing, rubbing against the pad. Once I chipped away the scale, the noise went away.

Thanks for the update Lemmy. Too often someone asks for advice on a problem but doesn't report back with the cause & fix.

I'm sure this will be helpful to others in the future. It's always interesting to see someone down the road add a post to a thread like this, saying this helped identify the cause of their problem.

Actually there is squeal noise when you go in reverse! Time to go back to dealer
