Maybe a Mirage owner's IQ is based on the current price of gas!
If gas were under $1/gallon, I would still buy a Mirage. Not sure what that says about me? Oh yes I do know! I like cheap stuff that works well!
Looking back at all this - I became interested in a Mirage about 5 years ago. Once I discovered White Bear Mitsubishi in the state of Minnesota, I really became very interested the Mirage. At time, there was a lot of bashing of the Mirage. Almost anything else is better than a Mirage!
So what I find a bit ironic is all those better vehicles (Yaris, Fit, Prius c, Sonic, Fiesta, Micra (Canada), Fiat 500, Spark, Focus, & whatever else I may have missed) have disappeared from the market, & 5 years later the Mirage is still standing!
If Mitsubishi had better dealerships, the Mirage would be way more popular. I've always said that, but I believe it even more now!
One of the more interesting reviews I have read. He $hits all over the car while calling himself a genius for buying it.

I bought one way back in November 2012, and decided to keep it even though I have three kids now. Does that make me smarter, or dumber?

If Mitsubishi had a turbo version Mirage, I wonder if it would work with the 3A92 engine?

I bought one a couple years ago after the wife traded in her optima that I was driving for a sorento and I got stuck driving our pos Armada that the wife was driving. We only had the Armada because the wife had a company gas card at the time. I sold it as fast as possible and bought a Mirage. I have 3 kids. I'm the smartest guy I know.
