That's quite the deal. At that price, it might be a good idea to stock one.

Be sure to check it for defects. I've bought stuff for future use, only to find it has a problem - and it's long past the return period.

Is a radiator a part that is commonly replaced?

No. You usually get some sort of warning such as a very small leak before they fail. I won’t be ordering one.
Should mine start to leak, I will simply top it off with new coolant until the replacement radiator arrives.
Replacing your coolant every two years reduces the chances of leaks in the coolant system even more.
Not that I've seen. The only ones I've replaced had damaged tubes(from road debris) and causing slow pinhole leaks. Unless your rad is pelted by rocks a lot it should last a while. I've yet to see once with problems caused by defects or just being old. I'm all for stocking normal maintenance stuff that will get used like brake pads or oil filters but by the time you'd use a rad, you'll have zero warranty, and you'll likely have needed to store the thing for years. I'd just let stores store stuff like that. But if you have the space and extra money to toss around then giver. I'd buy beer or gas myself.

It has a lifetime warranty, just like the last one. So I'll store it until I, if ever, need it.
