    My HID Retrofit

I recently purchased a damaged OEM lamp to practice disassembly on for my HID retrofit project.

The lamp is one of the easiest to take apart assemblies I have ever worked with. 200 degrees in the oven for less than 3 minutes and I was able to take the lens off by hand. The sealant also stays tacky enough that it will seal up with minimal heat and pressure when it's time to go back together.

I have pictures to share that I will upload tomorrow afternoon.

My retrofit will consist of a Retrofit Source H1 Mini Morimoto Bixenon kit with 5k bulbs, 35w ballasts, Panamera shrouds and white led halo rings.

It will cost me 350 euro just to get drop in installed, am not gonna put lens on it (am still thinking about installing HID or not). It's not helping much, I'm blinded by enough Mercedez benz and Audi's on lenses

I'm pretty sure tomorrow afternoon has come and gone, but can we still get some pics?

It's funny. I get blinded more often by HIDs in the projectors more than I do when they are in standard reflectors.
When they are in reflectors, they aren't focused anywhere, and beam light every which way. When in a projector, they are focused, usually at oncoming drivers when they aren't aimed right.
