Why do all the cheap cars have to have the snowmobile transmission
I don't want to buy a cheap mirage for $5000, put $1500 of repairs into it ... then have to drop $7000 when the Nissan CVT fails at 50,000 miles.

I found this Dealership has about 4 or 5 Mirages ant good prices this one was for 10,900

Guys what do you think of a 2015 Mirage DE with 30k miles for $10,599? Sounds like a good deal to me. The car looks to be in very good condition. It's a 5 speed manual which is what I want.

Agreed, that seems quite high. DE 5-speed is the "lowest end" model, and has been selling here in Ohio for right around $11,000 brand new. For NC, TrueCar shows an estimate of $12,202 after $1250 rebate. If I had a choice between 0 miles for $12,200 and 30,000 miles for $400 less, I'd absolutely spend the extra $1600. It's worth that just for the new car warranty alone, not to mention you don't inherit 30,000 questionably-maintained miles.
I've got the 5-speed ES and love it. If you can swing it (and find one!), I'd highly recommend it. Cruise and Bluetooth are nice, and the alloy wheels and leather wheel and shift knob are nice touches.
