as of this morning, we have had a total of 234 inches of snow this season. I have the weathertech driver and passenger floor mats. These are great for collecting snow and holding the melted snow water in the mat. I am in and out of the car quite often and almost always wearing boots that collects lots of snow. I do use the floor vent for heat all the time along with the defroster. This helps to evaporate the water left behind in the floor mats. So far the carpet around the floor mats has remained dry and I have not had any problems, so I do recommend spending the $100 for the mats since I do not want any electrical corrosion problems or salt coated carpets that will eat holes in my floor.
