today was my first 50 MPG commute from work in a long while. Spring time and warmer temperatures are coming just at the right moment with the rising fuel price.
I was happy and wanted to share ;-)

Got that right! Since today it got up to 53°F here I decided it was a good time to replace my Echo's valve cover gasket then take it on the highway for good measure. I'm looking forward to more days like this to get more productive tasks finished. Woohoo higher average MPGs too!
in the mirages that i have driven, i have yet to get above 43 mpg, but i'm not complaining because that's still pretty good. i also have never got less than 39mpg. very stable that CVT. i think one day i might reach the 45 club but i doubt i'll ever be in the 50 club.
Same here. I had a great commute home last night. It was so warm out I decided to haul the hose out and rinse off my poor salt bathed car.

50F here and I avged 51mpg on the cluster on my 106 mile trip with my 2.7% tires that puts me closer to 52mpg, not too bad though I did spend about 20 minutes idling in road construction (1/2 mile in 20 minutes)

I haven't had the chance to drive my car in warm weather until the past few days - the temp really has an affect on the fuel mileage. I thought it was my imagination.
Pretty soon the winter gas will be gone and you should get even better mpgs
I love everything about Mitsubishi!!!!
Temps are finally really starting to rise here. This is the first week I've hit above 60 mpg on the way to work. How about you guys?

My last 2 tanks have been 8-10 mpg better than the ones before. Warmer temps are the only reason I can see for it.

Yep, winter blends are finishing up, I've already noticed an improvement here.
