@mitsumi, already sold the mudguards yesterday.

    ============
bought a new rubber hanger (toyota OEM) for the middle muffler and had a cherry bomb glasspack installed in place of the stock muffler

    refer to a thread I made: http://mirageforum.com/forum/showthr...7003#post37003

Looks good, watched your video to hear it growl !! But it's not obnoxious at all. Much quieter than I thought it would be.

there was a bit of a leak on the install.. had them redo it.

when I got home, I bought some anti rust paint and did the pipes. didn't get the part where it bends on the axle. I don't have a lifter.
also added aluminum tape on the welded parts for added protection.

What about the jack under the seat? You might want to use some jackstands to hold things while working under the car.

Do you know what material the exhaust pipes are made of? I don't suppose they are stainless.

yeah I use the jack and place a spare truck tire (w/ the rim) and metal beams on it for improvised jack stands. I'll purchase a couple soon so I can have proper safety.

The axleback isn't stainless. it's all rusted inside.
Not sure about the stock pipes? why? is there something I should worry about?

I would remove the aluminum tape. It will trap moisture and make it rust faster. A high temperature paint is a better option.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    ok. good advice.

I think aluminum tape is just good for a temp fix for leaks?

    removed the aluminum tape already..

also last monday, I placed 4 zipties around the lifter and the top of the spring so it'll be snug with the perch.
there's really nothing wrong but it's been bothering me seeing that it sat like this / \ before. now it's straight.

found a set of h&r springs for around $150

they really are alot comfier. and theyre even lower than the maxspeeds, which is nice!. i can now traverse bad roads faster.

though same as the maxspeed, it seems that the rears sit lower coz of the fender arch and the springs are designed for the hatchback. 2 fingers front, 1 rears will have new lifters fabricated soon to even things out.

will take photos of the car soon
