    DIY: Front License Plate Bracket

Since I didnt want to screw my license plate into my bumper and have the screw holes if I ever removed my front plate, I decided to make my own mount that uses the OEM screw hole. Below are what the mount looks like not mounted and Mounted.

That looks great. Do you plan on attaching a small piece of foam to the back of the plate so it doesn't scratch the paint on your bumper as it flexes while driving?

Its only against the bumper for the picture. It can be pulled away from the bumper by adjusting how far the rod enters. There is no rubbing issues.

Very nice. I like it. Very clean install.

I've also added it to the Mirage Modifications, Customizations, and DIY list.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    Well done.

So you prefer to have one up front? Interesting. Whenever I see a car with a front plate, I'm thankful that I don't need to have one. Since it's a vanity plate, I'm assuming it's not required where you live either.
