Hey there,
So it's me again, but this time, under a new guise: Rival Autosport. Specializing in aero and chassis parts, there's also a specail focus on the 2013+ Mitsubishi Mirage. I've been working on a couple of prototypes includin a full CAI/SRI system, a short throw shifter and shifter extender, an oil catch can, some aero mods braces.
What I'm here to do is gauge interest in Carbotech AX6 (autocross compound) brake pads. I've been working with Carbotech over the last couple of weeks to try and create a real solution to our braking woes. The AX6 compound is great for high friction and great stopping, from cold to hot and everything in between. If you've done autocross before, you know how important it is to have a pad that works in a wide temperature range, since brakes are always cycling heat in this form of competition.
This is the same reason it make for a great street and lapping day pad: it can do it all. A little dusty and noisey compared to stock, but worth it if you're looking for that all-round performance from your brakes. But don't take my word for it. Check out Carbotech's AX6 description: http://www.ctbrakes.com/brake-compounds.asp#2.
So if you're interested, please post in this thread with any specific concerns or requests and I'll be more than happy to help you out.
