they are replacing my axle which is good however repeatedly are trying to charge me for an alignment in the rear.

Either way, why would they charge you for a made up service that doesn't exist, wonder if they recommend replacing the timing belt too? Even if the solid trailing axle did have adjustment(which we both know it doesn't) I would assume warranty would take care of that. I'd be irritated.
