Okay, so gadget inserted. Turned the car on ...and took my first drive.
Got an email right away...confirming the device was 'reporting'
Then after the trip I got a notification from the app. Open it and my driving was 'scored'
Scored on: braking, cornering, acceleration and speed. Also distance, etc...
All captured.
I think this is fairly standard data that cars record today. This is probably the same execution that insurance by mile uses or Progressives driving tracker.
I will report again when I get some tax data to share specific for the Mirage
