No way! Very cool.
I read the manual cover to cover and I'm sure it doesn't mention that. How'd you find out?
The Toyota Echo had something like that as well. Not sure if the current Yaris does or not.

My collegue told me who learned about it at Mitsubishi hands on training class. Then we logged on to the Mitsu service site and in the training section they have some info, schematics and illustrations. If my phone could take decent pictures of the monitor I would post here. (maybe I will anyway later)

Very interesting, 3d. Can you tell us under what conditions all 3 relays operate, to get the most heat? I am interested in using it to get the engine to operating temperature as quickly as possible.
Thanks for sharing.

If you want to figure it out, put a 12V bulb after each relay and watch them turn on/off.

Mist wiper feature:
If you "bump" the wiper stalk up to sweep the windshield for mist it operates in the normal speed mode.
If you "hold" the wiper stalk up (for mist) it operates in the high speed mode

Engine accessory mode with the engine off for those with the engine start button.
With your foot not on the brake pedal, push the start button once. This will turn on the power to the radio.
With your foot not on the brake pedal, push the start button another time. This will turn on power to everything in the car(power windows will work and the engine cluster will light up like you are about to start the car).
As I am finding out, the car uses ground switching instead of hot switching when it comes to turning accessories on and off. In other words, the accessories have power all the time, and in order to turn them on and off the car switches the ground on and off instead of switching the power on and off.
The jack for the car is under the driver's seat. In order to remove it, you must unscrew the jack, collapsing it, which will allow you to remove it.
Most of the interior panels do not require any tools to remove them. Just simply grab them and pull them off. A couple of them can be rather hard to pull off so a trim panel popper(an angled, very hard and thin plastic tool) comes in handy to help remove them.

Outstanding !
I have noticed how quickly I can feel warmth from the vents, and how quickly the water temp begins to climb.
