I bought a 2015 5-Speed Manual DE with no options. The MSRP was $13,805, including destination charges. The dealer discounted the price $1,566 and also applied the $3,500 rebate. My end cost was $8,739 + title fees and 7% sales tax.

I got really lucky on the price. Most of the dealers in my area of Ohio are offering around $1,000 off MSRP, plus the $3,500 rebate on their remaining 2015 Mirages. I was about ready to buy a manual DE at this price when I happened to catch a TV ad ran by my local Mitsubishi dealer. The ad said the dealership was selling new Mirages for as low as $7,989. Of course, this price included the loyalty and military rebates, which I don't qualify for. I took a screenshot of the ad and called the dealer. He honored the TV price, less the loyalty and military rebates. What a deal!

    Wow - congrats!

And welcome to the forum. Post an intro thread and tell us about your username.

There are more than a couple of VW fans around here, not surprisingly also drawn to Mitsu's humble little car.

After 2 weeks of watching this forum and reading everything I could here...I drove 300 miles yesterday and bought one at Long-Lewis in Florence, AL. They are a volume dealer and the price you pay is the price on the windshield, and in this case on their website..unless you qualify for the other rebates or the suppliers rebates which I think is 250.00.. I paid 8684.00 for an Infrared DE MT. I had the salesman go out and lay hands on the car.. I gave him 500 over the phone and I took off after it...they do not charge any fees at all...the salesman is paid on a sliding scale of how many units he sales per month. so the breakdown is 13805.00-3500-1621 (their discount) 8684.00 + 7% Georgia tax. I pay 18 and 20 tag and title 9536.00 - 500 I put down over the phone 9036.00OTD

Bought it even though it's under powered for the hills. The dealership was Renn Kirby in Frederick, MD. They have the $14,805 MSRP Mirage DE w/ CVT for $9,958 before tax and $380 fees, or the $16,205 MSRP ES w/ CVT for about $11k plus tax and fees. Other dealers within 50 miles of DC had given me similar quotes. I qualify neither military nor loyalty rebates BTW

Lol...in ten years, will we here all still be talking about "The Great Mirage-A-Palooza of March 2016"?

These rebates and prices are incredible!
