OK. Just got the unit yesterday! I only had a little time before work today to get it running. It was super easy. I decided to buy Dash Command for the Ipad, the unit came with a demo app on cd but I did.nt like it.
First I installed Dash Command on my Ipad. Then plugged the unit onto the OBDII connector in the Mirage (It is on the left under dash right below the fuse box cover). It sticks straight down about 2.5 inches which isn't too bad, I may look for a cable to put the unit under the dash somewhere. I know they make splitter cables for OBDII but would need to find a right angle plug.
Then fire up the car and the Ipad. Go to settings on the Ipad to find the Wi/Fi (its called OBDII on mine), just connect to the proper wifi then go to Dash Command and hit connect! That's it, you can then play with Dash Command to put in car info, weight drag etc....
I haven't had time to fully explore all the options, so I'll try to get some pictures/videos up .
