Here is another 2015 DE. 6000 miles, 5 spd, in Naugatuck, CT for $7995.

Pretty good deal, that. It has a clean title, which most Mirages in this price range don't have. Looks like it was a lease return. Whomever buys it won't be getting the 10/100 warranty, but for 2/3 the price of new and only 6k on the clock it might be worth it.

I think the axle issue is dragging the resale value down.

In All Honesty, I don't think it's worth buying a used Mirage like that because you Lose the 10/100,000 warraunty, and for this car this is a benefit, so for the price of a DE a person is Smart Buying it New. Plus 5 year Roadside service. But with a cheep price on a used one you Don't have all of this.

I would buy used after all my troubles with the dealership on warranty issues, they refused to do an alignment and now I have my lowered suspension so I don't feel like hassling with them more, they denied fixing my airbag light for my oil pressure gauge I have installed (will be removing and trying to go through the warranty process again). I just was happy to have my first new car and I wouldn't have wanted it to be anything else than my mirage. I am happy to see these prices, I can't wait to get a second mirage!

$1.95 gas is hurting it the most I think.

I may find myself buying one of these soon! It looks easy enough to work on. Plus, I don't trust dealers and warranties.

Gas prices aren't much cheaper now than they were last spring, when Mitsubishi sold over 3,000 Mirages in a month. I think part of it is anticipation of the new model, part of it is gas prices, and a small part of it may be concerns about rear axle alignment.
