This is a concern, most likely due to overtightened serpentine belt. We also had an a/C compressor failure.

IMHO Mitsubishi was better off using auto-tensioner.

Looking at that Black one there,s Nothing wrong with getting a salvage title mirage as long as you ck out why it's being sold like that. You can find a Steal of a Deal!!!! Sometimes it just needs parts that you can replace your self Fender, bumper , Hood ,door, because with the Ripe off Body shops Charge out of this world in Hourly rates!!! That it don't take much at All to Total a car!!! And it,s in very good cond!!! A friend of mine buys cars like that for about 1,500 and under!
