What I did to my Mirage... took it out on the road for the first time in a week. The cold spell has broken, I have an appt. to check the heating system tomorrow.

I am quite interested to hear what the dealer does for you. I really hope it goes well. Please ask a lot of questions if they are familiar with the issue!
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Last night, I finally titled my Mirage and transferred plates to it! I had been driving around on a temporary plate that I got from the dealer. The 2004 Civic I was driving is now parked and awaiting a possible buyer that is interested.

Dontcha love being a n00b? First post, don't own one of these. Yet?
Just discovered it, been doing all the reading about the good prices/incentives, opinions and so forth. Seriously contemplating one of these...
I'm a diehard Subaru nut, in fact I'm an Ambassador! (Not to mention an 18-year veteran of a handful of Subie forums.) So it would be pretty interesting for me to bring home a Mirage. I've got a 45-50 min. commute with a new job though, 1/2-2/3 highway so I'm thinkin' about this pretty hard. There's a dealership a little under an hour from my house that's got a handful of ES 5MT hatchbacks listed at $10K right on the website... My credit is excellent, so this would be a very inexpensive proposition!
"Bought one" may be a subsequent post of mine, in this thread. We shall see!

Too bad they don't sell Justys anymore.

You're right about that! I've been thinking for a couple of years that a new Justy would be a great idea for them. The Impreza is a marvelous car, especially now with the new Global Platform making it so rigid, but it's certainly not a subcompact. They could shrink that platform and drop a new Justy on the market.
Probably wouldn't sell very well here, but... then again some subcompacts do quite well.
There’s really no other Justy Metro Suzuki Swift like current car here in the USA.
Fuel prices sure didn't drop up here! Attachment 10836
